Delectable disco cuts aren’t exactly the order of the day in the countryside of Newbridge, Ireland but that hasn’t done anything to tempe the efforts of Gary O’Reilly and Rob Smyth, better known as Mix & Fairbanks.
Their clever sampling and dance floornous has enabled them to create a stream of quality cuts, which brought them to venues in Dublin, Barcelona, London, Bristol, and festivals like Eastern Electrics, Body & Soul, Electric Picnic, Life Festival, Longitude & more.
Their past releases have gained support from heavy hitters like Skream ,Krystal Klear, Tensnake, Folamour, COEO, and Fouk. Orange Tree Edits Vol 3, the first vinyl release for the lads hit the top of the Juno charts.
They’ve appeared on wax three times since, with a 4 track EP on LA’s Pleasure of Love, two Azoto edits on High Fashion Music alongside Major Swellings (Prins Thomas) and a track on a House of Disco Records V/A release.
